I really would like to let you in on the daily life on a ranch in the southwest and the wonders of God’s nature that we see every day.
The ranch I have is in the desert mountains. That means there are rocks everywhere. Because of the mountains and the rocks, we need to use horses to do
any kind of work, such as gathering cows, checking for calves, and monitoring grass usage. The horses have to have shoes for the rocky ground. My youngest son
is a professional farrier and blacksmith and shoes our horses. He heats the shoes and hammers them to make them fit just right.
He also helps on the ranch 20 hours a week and is the pastor of our church the rest of the time.
