I have a very busy life here on the ranch. There are also many other aspects to my life. I love to create, and I am on a mission to make each of my grandchildren what I call a “life “quilt. Each quilt has blocks that reflect that grandchild’s interests and it includes pictures put on fabric of that grandchild. The picture shown is a quilt that I recently finished for my granddaughter. All of my grandchildren are active in work on the ranch and are familiar with the rural lifestyle. They come when it is time to gather the cows for branding or for weaning. More on that later.
The other photo is a quilt that I made for a dear friend.

Howdy! Just seeing if this works 😉
That sounds absolutely wonderful! It’s amazing how you’re able to balance such a busy life on the ranch while also pouring so much creativity and love into your quilts. The idea of a “life quilt” is truly special—what a beautiful way to capture memories and reflect each grandchild’s unique personality!
It’s also heartwarming to hear how involved your grandchildren are in ranch life. That must create such strong bonds and cherished traditions. I’d love to hear more about the process of making these quilts and the stories behind them whenever you have time to share!
Looking forward to more updates. 😊
